Barkly Captured

It’s the biggest community photo project in the Barkly and if you’re in Tennant Creek you won’t be able to miss it! This is just the beginning… But we’d like to thank the more than 100 people who documented the Barkly through the viewfinder of a disposable camera and shared their unique perspective on life in the Barkly region. There are over 2000 photographs, showing life in communities, in towns, out bush, on the pastoral stations, on the road, in workplaces, and even in people’s very own backyards. You can see them all on the photo wall in Food Barn on Paterson St. And others will soon be appearing elsewhere, so keep your eyes peeled!
